Our client is an internationally accredited training provider in the IT quality assurance and testing environments. They are looking for a Customer Representative to join their team in Faerie Glen, hybrid work is possible if the candidate demonstrates the ability to meet the requirements of the position remotely.

The candidate will assist customers with inquiries, complaints, orders, billing, and other issues. He/she will be the first point of contact for customers and will play an important role in creating a positive customer experience. He/she will also be responsible to manage customer accounts to ensure customers are satisfied with the products and services they receive. It involves tracking customer preferences, managing customer data and profiles, tracking customer orders and interactions, and managing customer payments and billing. The goal is to maintain customer relationships and create customer loyalty. The scope includes providing customer support, troubleshooting customer issues, handling customer complaints, and educating customers on products and services. Effective communication with the customers, understand customer needs, and resolve customer issues in a timely manner. It is important to stay up to date on company policies and procedures to ensure accurate customer service.

Duties:

  • Respond to customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist customers with product information, orders, returns, and refunds.
  • Monitor payments, credits, and adjustments.
  • Resolve customer service issues in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information on products and service offerings.
  • Maintain customer records and documents.
  • Monitor customer service metrics and analyse trends.
  • Track customer satisfaction and provide feedback to management.
  • Create and revise systems and procedures by analysing operating practices,recordkeeping systems, forms control, implementing changes.
  • Resolve administrative problems by coordinating, preparation of reports, analysing data, and identifying solutions.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements:

  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Matric Certificate is compulsory
  • Attention to detail
  • Customer focused
  • Technically minded
  • 2 - 4 years' experience in a similar environment / position
  • Fluent in both English and Afrikaans
